Dawn in Dorset
Dawn over the glorious Dorset countryside

Dawning Glory

There is nothing quite as satisfying at the end of a summer’s day as a glowing sunset full of promise for the morrow, except perhaps the next sunrise.
The stillness, the peace and the slow radiation of colour as the hues change from shades of misty gold to tangerine and pink across the fields and hedgerows are an inspiration to behold and well worth every second of that early morning alarm call.
Badbury Rings provides a wonderful vantage point to see the sun come up, and it is worth making the effort to climb up to the third rampart to appreciate the sweeping views of the surrounding Dorset countryside as the dawn breaks.
